JATC Student Ambassadors attended the 12th Annual Leadership Conference at Utah Valley University, CHOICE : The Catalyst of Character.

The keynote speaker was Sean Covey, author of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens and the 6 Most Important Decisions You’ll Ever Make. He addressed the critical choices that teens face today, and how they can apply the 7 Habits to unleash their individual greatness. The keynote was followed by a number of breakout sessions.

We are looking forward to the great things ambassadors are planning for the 2011-2012 school year

Please join the Jordan Applied Technology Center of the Jordan School District, Salt Lake Community College, and Utah Valley University for the 4th Annual Biotechnology Poster Symposium at the Main Public Library (210 East 400 South, Salt Lake City, UT, 84111) on Friday May 13th from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. 

This is an opportunity to view posters of research projects conducted by high school, college, and university students.  The event is open to the public, including industry and business partners, and allows all to interact with some of Utah’s budding scientists. We would love if you and any of your friends or colleagues would come check it out.
